Bottega Veneta Fall 2011 Menswear

As the first days of the menswear shows for Fall Winter 2011 heat up in Milan, we were taken by the simple elegance of BOTTEGA VENETA‘s soft moto-inspired ankle boots.

As an Italian house with a fifty year heritage in opulent leathergoods, Bottega proves their expertise yet again with this chic, masculine style – with burnished chocolate brown leather folding softly over the instep and crossing over with a discreet buckle.

The house’s director Tomas Maier mixes up this classic boot with an acidic palette of mustard, grass green and vermillion corduroys, lightly rolled over the ankle for a refined yet casual aesthetic. Bottega Veneta is among several houses to show displays of vibrant colour at the Milan shows, including Raf Simons’ at Jil Sander and Christopher Bailey at Burberry.
