N.D.C // Made by hand
n.d.c stands for nom de code. ‘Code name’.
That’s how designers Arnaud Zannier and Enrique Corbi labelled their shoe collection when they began in 2001, believing in the power of their unique product over any grandiose branding statements.
Having honed their craft in the ateliers of Paul Smith, Lacoste and the workwear label Caterpillar, Arnaud and Enrique pour a wealth of functional and aesthetic knowledge into their creations – shoes which blur the lines between timeless style and a modern sense of individuality. Selecting the most beautiful leathers from Tuscany, the pair work in Gent, Belgium, creating mens and ladies styles as well as luxurious accessories.

Spring Summer 2011
n.d.c imagines an idyllic seaside retreat this summer – leisure aplenty to while away the hours with long walks along the beach or the curious exploration of unknown territories. Sandals are sturdy with varied plaiting and woven details, and brogues are given soft weathering in muted earth tones, dusty blues and reds. The nostalgic shapes of the chukka boot and the deck shoe are explored for both men and women – realised in grainy suede, canvas and soft nappa.
Shapes and textures echo a luxuriously casual lifestyle, with antique finishes that betray an exquisite craftsmanship.

FACT:
One of n.d.c’s more noteworthy collaborations is a union with the French heritage knife manufacturer Forge de Laguiole. Taking the iconic house’s knives, n.d.c has incorporated luxurious lizard skin or vintage leathers into the handle, transforming each piece into a covetable, unique object.

n.d.c Spring Summer 2011 is now instores at Coccodrillo ladies & mens boutiques.
