 Stylist-turned-shoe-designer Tabitha Simmons was born in England in 1971. After studying film at Kingston University, Tabitha began a career as a stylist, working as the fashion director for 'V' magazine and as a regular contributor to Dazed and Confused and Another Magazine. Working with her photographer husband Craig McDean and the likes of Glen Luchford and Steven Klein and fashion designers Calvin Klein, Alexander McQueen and Zac Posen for whom she has styled catwalk shows. Since 2009 Tabitha has juggled her high-profile styling career with her seasonal collection of Italian-made directional fashion footwear. From ankle booties to beaded stilettos, espadrilles to kitten heels, Tabitha’s varied designs are a testament to her personal love of beautiful and unusual shoes (she names each style after one of her nearest and dearest fashionista girlfriends). Tabitha currently lives and works in New York. |
